Part-Time, Term Time - 5 hours pw
Rishon is the exciting Sunday morning cheder programme offered at Muswell Hill Synagogue. We have been teaching Jewish education to young people for 20 years, instilling a love and real knowledge of Judaism, as well as solid instruction in Hebrew reading every term-time Sunday morning. In previous years we have run joint events online with a community in Italy, and during national lockdowns we continued to provide on-line class teaching.
Our small and friendly community of teachers, parents and pupils welcomes an experienced teacher who has the ability to work effectively with children of all ages, as well as be empathetic, confident, enthusiastic, friendly, and flexible and maintain a high personal integrity. They are able to lead a team and inspire the teaching staff through effective management demonstrated through experience. Organisational skills, and regular communications with parents will also be expected.
