The United Synagogue is delivering an ambitious conservation, public engagement and access project at its Victorian cemetery in Brent, London, supported by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
A new visitor experience will open at Willesden Jewish Cemetery www.willesdenjewishcemetery.org.uk
this month and we need someone to help us create a great visitor welcome in a safe way. We are looking for a duty manager to be in charge of the visitor centre for up to 12 hours a week on weekday mornings and including two Sundays a month, working alongside a Front of House volunteer.
The successful candidate will make their mark on visitors’ experience of our new heritage offer. We are looking for someone who likes to meet new people and work closely with volunteers. Experience in a related field, a track record of volunteer supervision, working with the public and health and safety will be a plus. You will be great at taking initiative, and be able to effectively work with a wide variety of people.
The US welcomes suitably experienced or qualified applicants, regardless of background.
Interviews will take place on Sunday 16th August 2020.
