As students wind-down for the year, Tribe have been busy working to ensure that both graduates and those preparing for life after school remain engaged with the Jewish community and have support for the next stage of their life journey through the Tribe’s School Leavers’ Packs and Graduation Dinners.

For those in the last days of their school lives, the Tribe team hand-delivered 750 School Leavers’ Packs. The packs include lots of information as well as a Tribe benscher, a handy bag-for-life and a deck of playing cards and other useful items for once they leave school.

The packs have been well-received by recipients, with Gila Davis commenting: “It was such a nice surprise to have a friendly Tribe member of staff hand-delivering these cool packs. The items are really useful and it’s great to know that Tribe really care about their members and go to such lengths to engage with us. Thank you Tribe”.

Meanwhile Tribe have held fantastic Graduation Dinners in Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Cambridge over the last few weeks.

Each dinner was attended by over 30 students and had a fun and festive feel as well as delicious food. Members of the Tribe team spoke about Young US and inspired graduates to become part of their local communities after college. Tribe also encouraged participants to take advantage of the brand new Young US Birthright trips to Israel, which are supported by UJIA.

David Collins, US Director for Young People and Young Families said: “Beginning a new phase in life is exciting but can also be daunting. Here at Tribe we are doing our utmost to support our members as best we can as they embark on their next challenges. I wish those leaving school and those graduating the best of luck for the future. I hope they will take full advantage of all that Tribe and the Young US has to offer”.
