Eight United Synagogue communities took more than 250 young members in Years 7-9 to Mega Jump in Borehamwood for Tribe’s Mega Purim Fest 2.0. Year 10 and upwards also enjoyed Tribe’s Neon Purim masquerade boat party on the River Thames.
Participants had an incredible time going crazy on trampolines, playing arcades, and loads more fun activities. They also got to mingle with their peers in a relaxed environment and even took mementos of the events from the Photobooth.
On board the boat a DJ got the party started, whilst Neon Henna artists and a selfie corner amongst other activities combined to give attendees a night to remember.
The events, which were open to all US communities, were planned and organised by the Tribe Youth Directors of Bushey and Radlett, together with Borehamwood & Elstree, Cockfosters & N Southgate, Muswell Hill, Pinner, South Hampstead and Watford.
Deni Jacob, Youth Director of Radlett US, commented: “It’s vitally important that our communities continue to run inspiring and engaging events for our youth as they are the life-blood and the future of Tribe. I’m really proud of what our communities have been able to achieve, building on the success of last year’s inaugural Mega Purim Fest.”
Speaking about the events, Ben Vos, Tribe Community Liaison Manager said: “The team of Youth Directors that ran this event worked together brilliantly to give their communities the chance to meet more of their peers and make new friends. Tribe continually offer support to our communities to ensure that they have the resources to engage their youth in a variety of ways.”
