Last week Tribe played host to 95 children from Year 5 and 6 from Wolfson Hillel Primary School, at Yavneh College in Borehamwood.
16 Tribe madrichim (leaders), led by Sharon Radley, created a wonderful Shabbat atmosphere together with the children, which included an uplifitng davening in Yavneh’s beautiful shul. Tribe’s leaders also provided thought-provoking and stimulating activities, including the famous mitzvah board game, a Jewish newspaper quiz and activities based on the parasha.
The fantastic atmosphere was matched by the delicious food, with everyone having an amazing time. Many of the children commented that their particular highlight was the exuberant bentching (Grace after Meals). After having such a wonderful time, all participants are eagerly anticipating the next Shabbaton.
