On Sunday, Tribe got into the World Cup spirit by hosting 70 players at their own football tournament for pupils in Years 7-10.
The Tribe World Cup competition in Mill Hill Powerleague pitted the best of several US communities against each other in two categories; one for Years 7 and 8 and the other for Years 9 and 10. After a high-level of competition, Bushey US won the younger tournament whilst the older one was won by St John’s Wood US.
Josh Reindorp, Youth Director at St John’s Wood US said: “The St John’s Wood team had an amazing day out and were so happy to win the competition!”
Tribe Fieldworker, Motti Rotenberg commented: “It was great to see many teams from numerous communities coming together and participating in a very successful competition. Congratulations to our winners and we hope this will encourage more of our members to participate in sporting activities.”
