Tribe Israel Tour for Year 11 is one of our flagship programmes and a staple in the Jewish journey of our children. Tribe Tour offers teenagers an incredible opportunity to explore the very best that Israel has to offer - exploring the country with a welcoming and friendly cohort of like-minded individuals who become lifelong friends. The importance of this Israel connection is even more acute at this present time.

We know that the number one priority is the safety, security and wellbeing of our programme participants and staff. Our partners, UJIA Israel Experience, have been working hard liaising with partners and security officials in Israel, taking expert legal advice and securing travel and insurance policies to ensure that everything is in place to run a safe and secure Israel Tour.  Tour may look a little different this year – but its essence will not change, and we are excited to be launching a tour full of fun, educational opportunities and meaningful experiences.

Safety, Security and Wellbeing

There are several additional security measures in place this year, which will be continually monitored based on advice from the Israeli security organisations. Our group will be accompanied at all times by an armed guard and stringent protocols will be in place regarding emergency sirens and accessibility to shelters. There will be an increased provision of mental health support on call should a group or participant require it, and there will be additional training given to UK madrichim on safety and security best practice. The situation will be constantly monitored and there is a detailed crisis management protocol that can be enacted at a moment’s notice.
