Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum


Birmingham Central United Synagogue is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive orthodox congregation, established over 130 years ago, where everyone is made to feel comfortable, whatever their background or level of observance. Our ‘state of the art’ modern synagogue, banqueting suite, community deli and mikvah are on site in Edgbaston, close to the city centre, major road and rail links.


We seek an experienced manager to take overall responsibility for day-to-day operations, including membership, community events, Central Deli and our B5 Central Conference centre business.

 

The successful candidate will have relevant commercial experience and be the primary link between the lay-leadership and our staff and volunteers.

 

You will have strong marketing and events organisation experience and will work closely with your team to deliver innovative programmes for the community, as well as facilitating and supporting Shul events.
