Salary: £45,000, dependent upon experience

The United Synagogue is the largest synagogal body in the UK. We have over 60 synagogues and some 40,000 members primarily in the greater London area. Our central office in North Finchley provides core services for each of our communities.
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor within our Property Team, to be responsible for the delivery of building surveying services. You will manage a range of building assets, including Project Management of a variety of building projects.
You must have proven knowledge of making insurance claims and completing associated works, and experience with a similar clientele. A full driving license and access to a car is essential to this role.
The successful candidate will have good CAD skills and ability to produce drawings for planning applications, concept designs as well as work with very little supervision. Ideally, an understanding of the Halacha in relation to building design/construction, and your ability to carry out measured surveys would be an advantage.
