Stanmore Synagogue is a vibrant, dynamic and inclusive community with approximately 2,200 members.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and charismatic Assistant Rabbi & Rebbetzen to work alongside and support our Senior Rabbinic couple and Youth Directors.
The candidates should be passionate, self-motivated and well-organized team players and be prepared to engage with our members across a broad range of ages and levels of observance. The successful candidates will be expected to build a close and meaningful relationship with existing members, actively promote the Stanmore Synagogue community, make Judaism relevant to the members, as well as recruit new members.
The Assistant Rabbi will have a Certificate of Semicha, which is acceptable to the Chief Rabbi. Previous experience in a United Synagogue style community including pastoral work, organising events and communal activities is desirable.
