Last week the Tribe Israel team welcomed 75 British Gap Year students to Israel with an event at Burgers Bar in Jerusalem.

The group were treated to lunch where they were told what Tribe Israel events will be taking place for them over the coming year as well as an opportunity to meet new people and socialise with their friends.

They also met the Tribe Israel team including Gaby Godfrey, Rabbi Gideon Sylvester and Marc Benamram, who are on-hand to help them throughout the year, as well as David Collins, United Synagogue’s Director of Young People and Young Families.

Commenting about the forthcoming year, Gaby Godfrey said: “We were delighted to see such a big turn-out of Gap Year students in Israel this year. Tribe is looking forward to playing its part in helping to make this year a truly memorable and inspiring experience for the students”.
