Finchley United Synagogue, commonly known as “Kinloss”, is a vibrant and dynamic community. It is a high profile, leading synagogue, of which the current Chief Rabbi was the previous senior Rav. There are approximately 3000 members who span the age spectrum, with a rapidly growing number of young families.
It holds flagship events, such as the recent UK leading Shabbat UK programme with a week of events, Celebrating our People and our Land,” and the major northwest London communal annual Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’Atzmaut Service; such events attract hundreds of people.
The ideal candidate will be charismatic and enthusiastic and have an excellent track record in communal leadership and a desire to promote modern authentic Judaism. Applicants should have plenty of initiative and good communication, organisational and administrative skills. The key remit of the role is to support the existing programme.
