Full Time Rabbi/Rabbinic Couple - available late October 2017
This is an excellent career opportunity, offering an outstanding remuneration package including a five bedroom home. Kingston, Surbiton & District Synagogue is a modern Orthodox community located in South West London with around 290 members.
It is now seeking a full time Rabbi or Rabbinic Couple who will play a full part in all aspects of the religious, pastoral, educational and social life of the community.
The successful candidate will believe in modern orthodox values, have enthusiasm and a real passion to develop the community, and be excited about working with both children and adults of all ages and reaching out to families from across the religious spectrum. He/they will have good interpersonal skills, a high level of computer literacy and the ability to be innovative in inspiring and encouraging our members and potential members. The successful candidate/s will also be enthusiastic about regularly opening their home to congregants.
Applicants must have an ability to daven with a melodious voice, lein and give sermons and ideally have a degree in a secular subject.
