Borehamwood and Elstree United Synagogue, the largest community in the United Synagogue, is looking to build a world class support environment to best meet the needs of our expanding, active and vibrant community.


Facilities and Finance Executive - £25,000 pa
We seek to recruit a full time Facilities and Finance Executive to enable scalability in our growth strategy.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing logistics and facilities within a similar environment, as well as the ability to coordinate teams of professional caretaking and manage relationships with third party users of the site. You will have a strong accounting background being a qualified or part-qualified accountant/bookkeeper and with experience working within a generalist accounts role, as well as a strong knowledge of accounting issues and procedures. You will be comfortable dealing directly with members and providing expertise, guidance and support.

Part time (0.8) Community Liaison Executive - £20,000 pa
As the first point of contact for our community, the successful candidate will have a strong customer services background with good organisation and communications skills. You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, managing member enquiries and coordinating their life cycle events. Ideal candidates will be friendly and compassionate, as well as organised and highly efficient.

Part time (0.6) Rabbinic Executive Assistant- £15,000 pa
The successful candidate will have held previous roles as an Executive Assistant and will be used to creating time efficiency and maximising productivity of an Executive leader. The role will involve strong organisation skills, discretion and compassion, as well as an ability to put in place firm boundaries whilst being able to reprioritise and reschedule independently.
The role would suit someone with a strong knowledge of the Jewish Community and an ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
