Assistant Rabbinical Couple - focus on Youth – Fixed Term, 3 years

Part-time or Full time – dependent on availability

Salary: subject to negotiation based on experience and agreed working hours (including accommodation).

BES’s vision is to build a vibrant and committed self-directing Youth community, backed by professional and lay support, with committed principles of Education, Social Action, Leadership and Social activities.

We are seeking to appoint a rabbinic couple to lead a team, to build and implement this vision. You will be passionate about your Judaism, and have a desire to inspire and support youth and young adults on their Jewish journey.

Applicants should have a proven background in youth work and be able to demonstrate programming skills and running of events. Competency with MS Office software applications, and particularly with graphics and social media, is a benefit. An ability to lead and work as part of a team is essential.

Applicants must hold a recognised semicha acceptable to the Beth Din & Office of Chief Rabbi.

These posts are subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS (CRB) disclosure.
